In order to reach our goal, Women on Wings shares business knowledge with social entrepreneurs in India that work with rural women. We accelerate the growth of these social enterprises. Ellen Tacoma and I are the founders of Women on Wings. Since April 1, 2016 we both act as non-executives in the Board of Women on Wings in India and The Netherlands.
Women on Wings provides business consultancy to Indian social entrepreneurs that create employment for women in rural India. Our experts share their time and skills pro bono. They have 15+ years of experience in e.g. marketing, finance, product development, production, retail, food and supply chain management. Through providing business knowledge, we unlock the growth potential of these social enterprises, our business partners. Our experts work temporarily -on site and off site- with our business partners to support develop their business.
